Eurodis general RMA policy
Functional warranty: 30 days(from invoice date) fit, form and function, unless otherwise agreed in writing(applicable to oem/cem customers only)
- Testing of supplied products must be approved by Eurodis in writing. Otherwise, any warranty will be void
- We do not accept returns based on material analyzes of sold components, as such analyzes are far too unreliable. This applies regardless of the certification test houses etc have
- An RMA enquiry must be submitted together with a complete fault report within the warranty period, including details of the number of defective articles, the reason for the RMA enquiry, substantiating images, any test report etc
- Returns will only be accepted if they are for reasons that are the responsibility of Eurodis, such as manufacturing defects or incorrect product delivery. Incorrect product deliveries (visual inspectio n only, functional warranty not applicable) are to be reported to Eurodis in writing within 8 days of delivery
- Returned goods must include all original packaging in undamaged condition, and will be replaced with new goods when possible. If no replacement is available, your account will be credited for the value of the returned goods
- An RMA issued by Eurodis must be returned within three business days and the tracking number must have been notified to the seller. Otherwise, the returned article will not be accepted
- Returned materials may be sent to an independent testing facility. Should there prove to be no grounds for the return, the material will be returned to the buyer and all costs for testing, shipping, etc. will be payable by the buyer
- Eurodis works to ensure esd-protection (acc to Jedec etc) as far as it's possible and reasonable. Any rma request based on esd-protection handling reasons will not be approved
- Components with older date codes: We appreciate and prioritize customers who understand that articles with older date tags do not always look like today and were not produced in the same way they are done today.
For example, labeling may be osymetric and may well disappear during an acetone test. Retinned legs from factory is also common
- Companies that are constantly/systematically applying for complaints will not cooperate with Eurodis
- RMA request for items that Eurodis has not delivered will be treated as an attempt at fraud and will be dealt with accordingly
- We are also member of an unofficial network of stocking distributors who report dishonest, rough and problematic customers
These conditions supercedes any other condition as might be noted in documents, such as customer purchase orders, if not otherwise agreed upon and confirmed in writing by Eurodis.
RMA report requirement
Request for an RMA should be sent together with an error report to sales@eurodis.nu. No reclamations will be accepted without an RMA. Following information are required in the report:
- Batchnumbers (lotnumbers)
- Quantity of faulty products
- Quantity of unused products from the same batch
- Photos of the defective parts
- A test report from a testing laboratory approved by Eurodis may be required if Eurodis deems it necessary
- If and when return number is given by seller, the goods must be returned within three business days and the tracking number must have been notified to the seller. If this does not happen, the return is deemed to be invalid and the order shall be made in accordance with the original agreement
